Biography: Jágr is a Czech ice hockey right winger known for having the second highest points in NHL history, behind Wayne Gretzky. During his time with the Pittsburgh Penguins, they won the Stanley Cup twice in a row.

Having started skating at age three, Jágr was playing at the highest level in Czechoslovakia at 15 and then, at only 17, was selected for the Czechoslovakia national team.

Jágr was named in 2017 as one of the 100 greatest NHL players in the sport's history. He is also a member of the 'Triple Gold Club'—for entry to which an individual must have participated in team victories in the Stanley Cup, the Ice Hockey World Championships, and an Olympic gold medal for ice hockey.
