Biography: Karl Malone is regarded as one of the greatest power forwards in basketball history.

Malone was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 1985 and spent his first 18 NBA seasons in Salt Lake City where he formed a famous duo with his teammate John Stockton.

He was a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (1997, 1999), a 14-time NBA All-Star and an 11-time member of the All-NBA first team.

Malone scored 36,928 career points ranking second all-time in NBA history behind the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He also earned Olympic gold medals with the US Team at the 1992 Barcelona and 1996 Atlanta Games.

He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
